$17.20 - $18.13/hrQUALIFICATIONS
Required- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years' work-related experience Preferred
- Bilingual
- Basic cashiering skills
- Knowledge of customer service principles
POSITION SUMMARY
The Kitchen Helper is responsible for performing routine kitchen duties including food preparation, serving breakfast and/or lunch to students and staff, dishwashing, cashiering, and cleaning.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Prepare food as directed by head cooks
- Set up serving lines
- Serve food to students and staff
- Keep service areas and food dispensers cleaned and stocked
- Count and record quantities of food sold on daily and weekly sheets
- Compile food and supply orders
- Receive money for cash sales in ala carte line
- Assist with cleaning the kitchen, cooking equipment, and serving areas, including operating commercial dishwashing equipment
- Other duties as assigned
