Prior experience in food preparation, POS systems, or food service is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Duties Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards Operate POS systems Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the restaurant, including food prep stations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces Assist with food safety practices, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures Buss tables, clear dishes, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation and food industry best practices Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service Experience Previous experience in a quick service or fast-food restaurant is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with food industry standards such as food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques is advantageous Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be available Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order accuracy Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment such as a café or casual dining setting Prior experience in retail math or grocery store environments can be beneficial but is not essential Join our team to deliver memorable dining experiences while developing your skills in a supportive environment.
