Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing, surface cleaning, and waste disposal Assist with food preparation tasks under supervision, ensuring ingredients are handled safely and efficiently Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, ovens, and food processing tools following safety guidelines Support food safety sanitizing procedures to meet health regulations and prevent contamination Handle manual tasks including weight handling in the workplace and processing cash transactions at the POS (Point of Sale) system when necessary Ensure proper food handling practices are followed during service, adhering to food safety management standards Assist with catering and banquet setups, ensuring all items are prepared, organized, and presented professionally for events Skills Prior experience in fine dining environments or restaurant settings is highly desirable Knowledge of food preparation techniques and proper cleaning protocols within a food industry context Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and food safety management systems Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Strong customer service skills with experience in in-person service environments Basic math skills for processing transactions and measuring ingredients accurately Wine knowledge or culinary experience is a plus for supporting beverage service or menu presentation Experience with banquet or catering setups enhances your ability to support large-scale events Good physical stamina for weight handling, manual handling tasks, and standing for extended periods Join us as a Steward and become an essential part of a lively team that values dedication, cleanliness, safety, and exceptional service.
