We're hiring Kitchen Crew to help us serve fresh, high-quality food to students, faculty, and staff in a fast-paced campus setting. Kitchen Crew Pay:

Elon University, Clohan Hall, North O'Kelly Avenue, Elon, NC 27244 (in person) Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to menu specifications and manuals Keep stations, utensils, and equipment clean and sanitized to meet food safety standards Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools throughout the shift Follow proper food handling, storage, and labeling practices Follow knife, kitchen, and sanitation safety protocols Get prepared food to the service counter on time and at the right quality Help track inventory and let management know when supplies are running low Qualifications Previous restaurant, catering, or food service experience preferred, but not required Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and handle multiple tasks Ability to stand for long periods Food Handler certification may be required depending on local requirements, acquired at your expense May be required to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally Reliable attendance and punctuality Must be at least 18 years old Must be able to pass a background check Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Employee meal Flexible schedule
