Job Description
Durty Bull Brewing is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Lead/Manager to oversee and lead our kitchen operations.
This is a working management position. While you'll be responsible for food ordering, inventory management, scheduling, and developing weekly specials, the majority of your time will be spent in the kitchen alongside the team. We're looking for someone who leads by example, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and enjoys being part of a small, hardworking crew. Our kitchen operates roughly 40 hours per week with six days of service. We run a streamlined menu and are looking for someone who can help us continue delivering great food while maintaining quality, consistency, and profitability. Responsibilities Work the line and assist with daily kitchen operations Lead and support a small kitchen staff Create and execute 2-3 weekly food specials Order food and kitchen supplies Manage inventory and monitor food costs Schedule kitchen staff and assist with shift coverage when necessary Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards Help improve kitchen efficiency and overall profitability Qualifications Previous kitchen leadership, management, or lead cook experience preferred Strong line cooking and food preparation skills Experience with food ordering and inventory management Ability to lead a small team and hold staff accountable Strong organizational and communication skills Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Compensation Starting salary of $50,000 Bonus opportunities based on food margins, kitchen performance, and overall profitability Employee discounts and brewery perks Opportunity to grow with a locally owned and growing brewery Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to help build something successful.
