Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Crew Member and become the heartbeat of a fast-paced, customer-focused food service environment! In this energetic role, you will deliver exceptional service by preparing food, managing customer orders with precision, and maintaining a clean and welcoming workspace. Duties Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards, including operating kitchen equipment and handling food safely. Manage customer orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing transactions accurately and swiftly. Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, bussing tables, and organizing kitchen and dining areas to uphold sanitation standards. Assist with food handling, serving guests promptly, and supporting team members during busy periods to ensure quick service. Process cash transactions accurately while managing retail sales transactions with basic math skills and cash register operations. Support food safety management practices by following sanitation protocols and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred; food service experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling and cashiering skills are essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly attitude and effective communication skills. Basic math proficiency for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and sanitation practices in the restaurant or food industry. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; prior kitchen or café experience is advantageous.
