Job Overview We are seeking energetic and dedicated Weekend Kitchen Help to join our vibrant culinary team! As a key member of our weekend staff, you will assist with food preparation, kitchen operations, and ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient workspace. Duties Assist with food preparation and cooking to support daily meal service Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures Support menu planning efforts by organizing ingredients and supplies Help with food service, including plating, serving, and maintaining presentation standards Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly for catering or special events Follow all safety guidelines related to kitchen equipment and food safety regulations Skills Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation methods Experience in food service environments such as restaurants or catering operations Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of food industry standards for hygiene, safety, and quality control Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and support overall kitchen operations Join us in creating delicious meals while gaining valuable culinary experience!
