FULL-TIME CREW MEMBER UMI

Sushi Hotpot & Seafood Buffet Winston-Salem, NC UMI Sushi Hotpot & Seafood Buffet is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and responsible Full-Time Crew Member to join our team. The main responsibility of this position is to help keep the restaurant clean, sanitary, organized, and ready for our guests .

PAY & TRAINING

Starting Pay:

$10.00 per hour Approximately 1-month training period at $10.00/hour. During the training period, the employee will not participate in the restaurant's tip pool . After successfully completing the training period, the employee may become eligible to participate in the tip pool , subject to management approval and the restaurant's tip-pooling policy. After training, the employee may also be considered for a pay increase based on work performance, reliability, attendance, ability to perform assigned duties, and overall job performance . Pay increases and tip-pool eligibility are not automatic and are based on individual performance and management determination. All hours worked will be properly recorded and paid in accordance with applicable wage and overtime laws.

EMPLOYEE MEALS

Employee meals are provided during scheduled work shifts , subject to UMI's employee meal policy.

SCHEDULE

Full-Time — 6 Days Per Week Available shifts: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM OR 5:00 PM - CLOSE Closing time may vary depending on business needs. Additional hours and overtime may be available based on business needs. Overtime will be paid as required by applicable law for qualifying hours worked over 40 in a workweek. Weekend and holiday availability is required. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESCleaning & Sanitation Keep dining areas, service areas, and assigned areas clean and organized . Clean and disinfect tables, chairs, counters, and high-touch surfaces . Keep floors and work areas clean and free of spills, trash, and other hazards. Follow all restaurant cleaning and sanitation procedures . Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and employees. Trash & Restaurant Supplies Regularly collect and dispose of trash . Replace trash bags and keep trash areas clean. Refill drinks, ice, cups, and other restaurant supplies . Monitor supplies and notify management when supplies are running low. Restroom Keep restrooms clean, sanitary, and fully stocked . Regularly check restrooms throughout the shift. Clean and disinfect restroom surfaces as needed. Dishwasher & Equipment Assistance Assist the dishwasher with cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and restaurant items . Help maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area. Follow proper sanitation procedures when handling restaurant equipment and utensils. Team Support Assist servers, hosts, and other team members when needed. Help maintain smooth restaurant operations during busy periods. Respond quickly to spills, trash, or other cleaning needs. Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS

Reliable, responsible, and hardworking. Able to work 6 days per week . Weekend and holiday availability required. Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment . Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods. Able to lift and carry trash, supplies, and restaurant equipment as needed. Good teamwork and communication skills. Able to follow cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures. Must maintain a clean and professional appearance. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required .
