Responsibilities Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, upselling menu items, and handling cash or card transactions. Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene protocols throughout your shift. Assist with food handling duties including serving, bussing tables, and ensuring proper food safety management practices are followed. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring their dining experience is positive. Qualifications Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking across various responsibilities. Strong communication skills with a focus on delivering friendly, attentive customer service. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Prior experience with food preparation, kitchen equipment operation, or retail sales transactions is advantageous but not mandatory.
