Duties Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes according to established standards Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas through regular cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, and proper waste disposal. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, and stock with safe lifting practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Follow food safety protocols diligently during food handling and preparation processes. Requirements Weekends are required. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests Experience with kitchen operations such as cooking, food running, and guest services is advantageous Previous banquet or hotel kitchen experience is beneficial but not required A positive attitude with a focus on customer service excellence and teamwork Ability to work fast pace environment, be adaptable and take direction is a must.
