• 2PM (may change depending on needs of Kitchen) Purely Plated Organic is a meal prep and catering company for childcare centers.

We are proud to serve fresh homemade seasonal hot lunch and snacks produced daily by our culinary team in our kitchen in East Hanover. These meals and snacks are distributed to our other area schools daily. What you'll do: We are looking for a dependable and experienced Kitchen Lead to join our staff. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience working in a high-volume kitchen and/or have completed training from an accredited Culinary School. Requirements include but are not limited to the following:

• Must be reliable and timely
• Strong knife skills required
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and remain on your feet for the entire shift
• Must maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, doing dishes, and taking out trash Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
• Cook and prepare all hot lunch items by the time deliveries need to go out
• Basic prep work (chopping, dicing, blending, etc.)
• Assisting with unpacking and storing grocery deliveries
• Ensuring kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards are met at all times

Pay:

Hourly position $20-23/hour Pay is based depending on experience

• Must pass a comprehensive childcare background check including fingerprint and criminal check
