This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for food service, excellent customer interactions, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The role offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the food industry, develop culinary and service skills, and contribute to a lively nightlife atmosphere. Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential. Responsibilities Prepare and serve Mediterranean or American classics food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation for delivery/pick-up orders Operate POS systems such as Toast or Square POS for order processing and transactions Manage customer orders with excellent customer service skills Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including late night kitchen stations cleaning and food prep for next days shift Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Assist with food prep, cooking, plating, and serving in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting Support team members during busy late night order rush hours to ensure smooth operations and timely service Uphold a welcoming environment by providing friendly service to all customers and employees Qualifications Previous experience in Mediterranean & American food preparation, food service, or is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast or Square POS is advantageous Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote menu items effectively Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work late-night hours on Thursday through Saturday until 2AM in a fast-paced environment , or working in a café or grocery store is beneficial but not required Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift light loads as needed Join our team for an engaging late-night dining experience where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create memorable moments for our guests.
