Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. As a vital part of our kitchen operations, you will assist in food preparation and ensure a clean and organized work environment. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about the food industry and eager to learn more about food handling and safety practices. Duties Assist in meal preparation by washing, chopping, and preparing ingredients as directed by the kitchen staff. Support the catering team by preparing food items for events and ensuring timely delivery of services. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other food preparation tools. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is handled properly to prevent contamination. Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying staff when items need to be restocked. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and knowledge of food safety standards is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to learn from experienced kitchen staff.
