Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist them with inquiries, directions, and event-related needs to foster a welcoming atmosphere Support event management by coordinating guest flow, managing queues, and ensuring smooth operations during busy periods Handle cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, process payments, and issue receipts while maintaining cash handling security Assist with food service operations including setup, serving, and cleanup while adhering to food safety standards Manage conflict resolution swiftly and professionally to maintain a positive environment for all guests Conduct safety checks and enforce safety protocols such as manual handling procedures and emergency response actions including CPR and first aid when necessary Support outdoor work activities including setup, breakdown, and maintenance of event spaces while following safety guidelines Engage in public speaking when needed to provide information or instructions clearly to groups or individual guests Assist with crowd control during large events or performances to ensure guest safety and comfort Collaborate with team members to ensure all aspects of the event venue operate efficiently and safely Experience Previous experience in events management or working at an event venue is highly desirable Background in retail sales or hospitality environments demonstrating excellent customer service skills Experience working with children or in family-oriented settings adds value to your candidacy Familiarity with outdoor work environments and manual handling tasks required for setting up or breaking down event spaces Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for processing transactions accurately Certifications in first aid, CPR, or safety protocol adherence are advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed Experience in theater production or resort settings can enhance your ability to manage diverse guest needs effectively Join us as a Floor Staff member where your enthusiasm fuels memorable experiences!
