Duties Assist with food preparation by washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients to support chefs and kitchen staff Maintain cleanliness by thoroughly cleaning workstations, equipment, utensils, and dishes following food safety sanitizing procedures Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and ensuring dining areas are tidy and ready for new guests Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, mixers, and other small appliances Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment while adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury Follow strict food handling practices to ensure all items meet sanitation standards and comply with food safety regulations Assist in maintaining overall sanitation of the kitchen area by adhering to kitchen health and safety standards Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation procedures is highly desirable Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing during shifts Familiarity with operating basic kitchen equipment and dishwashing machinery Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen operations Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Join us as a Kitchen Utility and become an integral part of creating memorable dining experiences!
