This position will report directly to the Lead Recovery Coach. Primary work location will be in-person at our 455 Hill St. location. This position is classified as hourly, non-exempt. This position will be part-time, about 15 hours per week.
Position Summary:
The Anxiety Program is proposing a part-time Kitchen Aide position to provide approximately 3 hours of support per day, from 11:30 AM-2:30 PM , with meal and snack preparation for clients participating in treatment. This role would support the clinical team by ensuring that lunch, snacks, and prescribed shakes are prepared consistently and efficiently according to established program guidelines.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma (or equivalent), Associates or higher preferred. 2+ years prior behavioral health experience. Proficient in spelling, grammar, multi-tasking. Self-starter who learns quickly. Strong computer skills. Demonstrates competency and sensitivity in the areas of multicultural, racial, religious/spiritual, gender, gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation issues.
Requirements:
Must pass a federal background check at hire and every 3 years. Must adhere to the drug-free workplace act. Demonstrate maturity of judgment, attitude, and life skills. Must demonstrate an ability to adapt to change and remain flexible. Must be a strong team player that works well in a busy environment. Must have strong communication skills and be upbeat, positive, and professional when interacting with clients, providers and fellow co-workers. Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time unsupervised & independently.
Duties:
Main liaison/point of contact between client/parent and treatment team. Prepare and set up client lunches according to established meal plans and portioning guidelines. Prepare shakes and nutritional supplements as directed by the treatment team. Ensure meals are ready and available at the designated lunch time. Assist with meal setup and organization. Support preparation and organization of afternoon snacks . Follow established guidelines regarding portions, food components, substitutions, and dietary accommodations. Ensure appropriate food components are available when clients require additions to meals. Complete kitchen cleanup following lunch, including dishes, food preparation surfaces, and equipment. Restock commonly used food and kitchen supplies as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food preparation area. Communicate questions, concerns, or supply needs to the appropriate clinical or program staff.
