Rice Ball is getting popular in NYC and our sales are increasing. Our NYC store is seeking Kitchen Staff to prepare Onigiri (rice balls) and serve customers. Due to increasing demand and growing sales, we need a staff member to assist with daily kitchen operations, preparation, cleaning, and customer service. [ Essential Duties ] Demonstrate and understands department standards of food quality and recipe Follow timetables for production and preparation Perform daily cleaning-including washing dishes/equipments,cleaning the floor,and collecting garbage Monitor product waste and ensure damage sheet being completed Use knives for preparation Help maintain an orderly,clean kitchen, display shelves,storage, and cooler/freezer facilities Carrying rice balls by climbing the stairs Communicating with/listening to other staffs to follow timetables Taking care of customers [ Working Hours / Working style ] Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00-17:00 or 8:30-17:30 Onsite [ Working Location ] New York, NY [ Salary / Benefit ] 18/hr [ Qualifications ] ・Knowledge of the methods,principles,processes,materials,techniques and equipment in quantity kitchen and customer service ・Knowledge or interest in Japanese Foods(Preferred) ・Food handler certification(Preffered)
