Responsibilities Prepare a variety of deli foods including sandwiches, salads, and cold cuts with precision and attention to quality. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently. Manage customer orders with friendly service, upselling products to enhance their experience. Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and process cash handling securely. Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation, including slicing machines, ovens, and refrigeration units Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or food service is highly preferred; restaurant or quick service experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively. Basic math skills for cash handling, pricing, and inventory counting. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving products as needed.
