ResponsibilitiesGreet customers and provide excellent customer serviceTake orders and handle paymentsPrepare and package foodSlice and portion meats and other food itemsUse kitchen knives safely and properlyMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work areaFollow food-safety and sanitation proceduresWork efficiently in a fast-paced environmentAssist with closing duties after the store closes at 6:00 PMClean and sanitize counters, work areas, equipment, and service areasRestock supplies and properly store foodTake out garbage and help prepare the store for the following dayThe Ideal CandidateFriendly, professional, and customer-service orientedReliable, punctual, and responsibleComfortable working in a fast-paced food-service environmentComfortable using knives and basic kitchen equipmentRestaurant or counter-service experience preferredAble to work independently and as part of a teamWilling and able to complete closing duties every shiftPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods during a shiftAbility to frequently reach, bend, stoop, and move around the work areaAbility to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

Ability to safely handle kitchen tools, including knivesAbility to perform repetitive tasks such as slicing, portioning, packing, and cleaningAbility to work in a food-service environment with exposure to heat, cold, and wet surfaces
