This position involves food preparation, sushi packaging, maintaining a clean workspace, and supporting daily kitchen operations. Responsibilities Prepare and package sushi for grab-and-go sales according to quality and portion standards. Wash, cut, and prepare vegetables and other ingredients. Assist with preparing and portioning fish and other sushi ingredients. Cook, season, and properly store sushi rice. Label, package, and organize finished sushi products. Keep prep areas, equipment, and work surfaces clean and sanitized. Wash dishes, utensils, cutting boards, containers, and kitchen equipment. Properly store and rotate ingredients following food-safety procedures. Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen cleaning duties. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures. Work efficiently with the team to complete daily production needs. Qualifications Food preparation or kitchen experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and instructions. Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable handling raw fish and other food products. Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive food-prep tasks. Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

$18.00 per hour
