The ideal candidate will assist with ingredient preparation, pizza assembly, kitchen organization, and cleaning while helping the team maintain consistent food quality and efficient service. Key Responsibilities Assist with preparing pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients. Wash, cut, portion, and organize vegetables, meats, cheeses, and other food items. Assist with assembling pizzas according to recipes and customer orders. Prepare ingredients and supplies before and during busy service periods. Operate basic kitchen equipment safely after appropriate training. Assist pizza cooks with order preparation and kitchen workflow. Check prepared orders for accuracy and completeness. Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked workstations. Restock ingredients, packaging, utensils, and other kitchen supplies. Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures. Assist with washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and maintaining kitchen areas. Monitor ingredient levels and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishment. Help with opening, closing, and routine kitchen procedures. Work cooperatively with kitchen and front-of-house team members. Perform additional food preparation and kitchen support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous kitchen, pizza, restaurant, or food-service experience preferred but not required. Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen safety. Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and established procedures. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food quality. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn pizza preparation techniques and kitchen procedures. Ability to safely handle basic kitchen tools and equipment. Reliable, punctual, and dependable work habits. Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods. Willingness to assist with a variety of kitchen duties.
