Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals in large quantities for students and staff Support daily and special event meals (e.g., Thanksgiving, Graduation, Summer Camp) Follow and adjust menus based on needs and availability Maintain a clean, organized kitchen (daily, weekly, monthly tasks) Monitor inventory, rotate stock, and assist with ordering supplies Set up and clean up for breakfast, lunch, and snack times Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols (ServSafe preferred) Follow kitchen and workplace safety procedures, including emergency protocols Engage with students positively and promote healthy eating habits Attend team meetings and training sessions Collaborate with team members in a supportive, team-oriented environment Qualifications Prior food service or institutional kitchen experience preferred ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain) Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment Ability to follow policies, safety standards, and procedures Passion for creating healthy meals and serving children with care Schedule Monday to Friday Morning and midday shift Additional hours during special events (as needed) Benefits Competitive hourly pay ($15-$18/hour) Supportive team and positive work environment Paid training opportunities Meaningful work with children and families To Apply Submit your resume through Indeed.
