Position Goal:

To efficiently perform the duties involved in the safe preparation and serving of food to school students and cleaning up kitchen equipment and facilities. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Prepares appealing, nutritious meals to all students in accordance with National School Breakfast and Lunch programs. Serve food using proper portion control. Use proper sanitation and safety procedures in accordance with the Montgomery County Health Department. Ensure equipment and designated areas are kept clean Operate a variety of kitchen equipment properly and safely. Work in any area that is needed (i.e.; salad prep, sandwich prep, hot foods prep, cashier, dish room) Follows all policies and procedures established by the Food Service Department. Use good public relation techniques with students, teachers, principal, and parents. Cooperates with fellow workers using a teamwork approach to kitchen duties. Qualifications High school diploma/GED The substitute must frequently life and/or move up to 50 pounds.
