Duties Prepare a variety of soups according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch Plan menus that incorporate seasonal ingredients and meet dietary requirements Operate kitchen equipment such as blenders, stockpots, slicers, and food processors safely and efficiently Follow strict food safety management practices, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Assist with meal preparation for catering events or daily service, maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow during busy periods Maintain cleanliness of all work areas by cleaning utensils, equipment, and surfaces regularly to uphold safety standards Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide within food service environments Strong knowledge of menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation techniques Excellent knife skills with slicing techniques for vegetables, herbs, and other ingredients Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Understanding of food safety standards in production environments and food handling procedures Previous restaurant or catering experience demonstrating ability to work under pressure Effective communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff and ensure seamless service delivery Culinary experience with a focus on soup making, food industry best practices, and safety standards Join our team as a Soup Maker and bring warmth and flavor to every bowl!
