Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell menu items to enhance sales, and provide friendly, attentive service. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by sanitizing surfaces, handling food safely, and adhering to sanitation protocols. Manage cash register operations including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, refrigerators, and other food preparation tools. Support food safety management by following proper food handling procedures and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick-service restaurant environments. Familiarity with POS for sales processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining quality standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales opportunities. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen equipment operation. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations confidently.
