Job Overview Join Team Doce as a Restaurant Crew Member and be the heart of a fast-paced, customer-focused food service environment! In this energetic role, you will deliver exceptional service by preparing food, managing transactions, and ensuring every guest has a memorable experience. You will see hands on experience with food, people, our smoker, plus much more! Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a lively atmosphere where customers feel welcomed and valued. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, customer service, and restaurant operations while working in a vibrant team setting. On top of the normal hourly pay, all working employees share and take home the tips each night. Typically making the job itself pay a few more bucks an hour. Duties Prepare and assemble food items efficiently according to established recipes and safety standards Operate POS systems (Toast) for accurate order processing and cash handling Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations Assist with food delivery to tables or counters, bussing tables, and managing food waste responsibly Manage cash registers accurately, handle transactions swiftly, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed Support kitchen operations by stocking supplies, organizing ingredients, and assisting with basic food prep tasks Experience Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast enhances efficiency in order processing Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques is advantageous Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality service Experience in retail math or grocery store environments can be beneficial for cash handling and sales upselling Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a team-oriented attitude Basic math skills for accurate cash register operation and transaction management Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering fast, friendly service while building your career in the vibrant food industry!
