This position combines frozen dessert production, customer service, and team support. Our ideal candidate takes initiative, stays organized, and helps create a welcoming experience for both customers and coworkers. Duties Prepare frozen custard, frozen yogurt, and Italian ice following established recipes, production procedures, and quality standards. Monitor product levels and coordinate production to keep flavors available throughout the shift. Prepare and restock toppings, mix-ins, sauces, and other ingredients. Support staff during busy periods by helping take orders, prepare treats, and serve customers. Help organize shift tasks and guide team members to keep service efficient and work evenly distributed. Assist with training employees on product preparation, customer service, cleaning, and daily procedures. Keep production, serving, and storage areas clean and organized. Follow food safety procedures, including proper ingredient storage, labeling, rotation, and equipment cleaning. Monitor supplies and communicate shortages, equipment concerns, and other issues to management. Assist with opening and closing duties, including register procedures and completing shift checklists. Handle routine customer concerns professionally and involve management when needed. Requirements A reliable team member who arrives on time and follows through on responsibilities. Strong communication skills and a positive, supportive approach to working with others. The ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and stay calm during busy shifts. Attention to detail and a commitment to consistent product quality and cleanliness. Willingness to learn production procedures and work hands-on alongside the team. Previous food service, retail, or leadership experience is preferred. Availability for evening and weekend shifts. Compensation Hourly pay based on experience, plus tips.
