Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Toast POS and Micros POS to process customer orders efficiently and accurately. Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, upselling menu items, and handling special requests. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by sanitizing surfaces, storing ingredients properly, and adhering to sanitation standards. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with accuracy. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while following food safety management protocols. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Support food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards. Assist in training new team members on food preparation techniques, POS systems, and safety practices as needed. Daytime availability required Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated learners eager to grow their skills. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation is advantageous. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods effectively. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but can be learned on the job. Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is highly desirable.
