Your culinary expertise and POS proficiency will help create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and satisfied. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble a variety of deli foods with attention to quality, presentation, and food safety standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Assist customers with their food orders, upselling products to enhance their experience and increase sales Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sanitation of equipment and food prep areas Manage cash register operations, processing cash, credit card payments, and handling cash transactions with accuracy Ensure compliance with food safety regulations by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Support kitchen operations by operating kitchen equipment safely and assisting in food preparation as needed Skills Proven experience working in a deli or quick service/fast food restaurant environment with strong food preparation skills Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales and cashiering tasks Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace at all times Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and processing transactions accurately This role is perfect for someone passionate about the food industry who thrives in a lively environment where every day brings new opportunities to serve customers with enthusiasm.
