Duties Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, upselling menu items, and handling cash register transactions. Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by regularly cleaning kitchen equipment, dining areas, and food prep stations in compliance with food safety standards. Assist with bussing tables, clearing trays, and supporting sanitation efforts to uphold a hygienic environment. Handle cash transactions with accuracy, process retail sales transactions, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety management practices. Qualifications Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory management. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain cleanliness standards consistently.
