Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Prep and Morning Kitchen Manager to oversee the early-day operations of our culinary team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all food preparation, meal assembly, and kitchen setup are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with our high standards. Your leadership will set the tone for the day's service, fostering a positive environment that emphasizes food safety, quality, and teamwork. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic kitchen team. This is a long term salaried position with management benefits and guaranteed pay. Responsibilities Lead morning food preparation activities, including chopping, cooking, and assembling mother sauces according to established recipes and safety standards. Oversee the setup of kitchen stations, ensuring all equipment is operational and sanitized before use. Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures. Supervise cleaning schedules for kitchen areas and equipment to uphold cleanliness and compliance with health regulations. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and knives safely and efficiently. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during morning hours. Qualifications Sought Previous experience in food prep roles and restaurant experience preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, safety standards in production, and food handling procedures, or a willingness to learn. Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment safely and maintaining cleanliness standards Excellent communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and other departments effectively Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and uphold food safety management practices Culinary experience with knife skills, slicing techniques, and cooking methods preferred but not required.
