Overview Join our team as a Kitchen Staff member and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! Much of the daily duties include proper preparation during low volume times, to be set up well for high volume. This position will also include a cash tip share at the beginning of each week to enhance the financial reward of the position. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and safety regulations Support food running and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and trash removal Handle bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and resetting dining areas efficiently Practice safe manual handling techniques during heavy lifting and movement of kitchen supplies or equipment Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold food safety standards at all times Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing when required Support banquet and event setups by preparing serving stations and assisting with guest services Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and guest satisfaction Qualifications Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; promtness and cleanliness is key! Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Familiarity with kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail In-person customer service skills to enhance guest experiences during dining interactions

Pay:

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
