In this role, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food while ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food service and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities Assist in food preparation, including washing, chopping, and cooking ingredients as directed by the kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Support the cooking staff by helping with various tasks such as food handling, plating, and serving during busy periods. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during meal service. Adhere to all food safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with bussing tables and helping guests as needed during banquet or restaurant services. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to food handling and kitchen operations. Requirements Previous experience in a hotel, banquet, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various kitchen roles as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work.
