Duties Assist with food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking or serving Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware Follow food safety protocols to handle ingredients properly and prevent contamination Support chefs and cooks by preparing ingredients such as chopping vegetables or portioning items Help with catering setups and food service during events or busy meal times Ensure proper storage of food items in accordance with health regulations Contribute to maintaining a hygienic environment by regularly sanitizing surfaces and equipment Skills Proven experience in cooking, food handling, or the food industry preferred Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic culinary techniques Ability to assist with meal preparation and food service efficiently under pressure Familiarity with kitchen safety standards and proper food handling procedures Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration Prior restaurant or catering experience is advantageous but not mandatory Enthusiasm for learning new culinary skills and growing within the food service sector
