Duties Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and safety standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders, sales transactions, and cash handling Provide friendly customer service by taking orders accurately, upselling menu items, and addressing customer inquiries with enthusiasm Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, organizing supplies, and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed at all times Operate kitchen equipment safely including grills, fryers, ovens, and other food service appliances Manage food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations to ensure product quality and hygiene Process cash transactions efficiently while balancing cash register operations at the end of each shift Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and sanitation practices within the food industry Strong time management skills to handle high-volume service periods effectively Customer service experience with a focus on retail sales transactions and upselling techniques Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing accuracy Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a café or grocery store setting is advantageous Food safety management knowledge and adherence to sanitation standards are essential for success Join us in creating memorable culinary experiences on wheels!
