Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with attention to quality, consistency, and presentation. Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to produce crispy, flavorful dishes. Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling ingredients for service. Follow food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen area. Handle food with care to ensure proper hygiene and prevent cross-contamination. Support menu planning by preparing ingredients according to recipes and portion sizes. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies needed for daily operations. Assist with catering events or special meal preparations as required. Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests or dining staff, ensuring a positive dining experience. Experience Candidates should bring a strong background in food industry roles, including kitchen experience in restaurants or catering environments. Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food handling standards and meal preparation procedures. A solid foundation in culinary techniques such as knife skills, food safety practices, and food preparation is essential. Experience with fine dining settings or high-volume food service will be highly valued. Candidates should possess excellent cooking skills, knowledge of menu planning, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
