This role assists with preparing ingredients, assembling pizzas, maintaining food quality, operating kitchen equipment, and keeping the preparation area clean and organized. Common Job Roles Pizza Line Associate Pizza Line Cook Pizza Preparation Associate Pizza Kitchen Associate Pizzeria Team Member Key Responsibilities Prepare dough, sauces, cheeses, meats, vegetables, and other pizza ingredients Assemble pizzas according to recipes, customer orders, and portion standards Monitor cooking times and temperatures to maintain consistent food quality Operate pizza ovens and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Prepare and package customer orders accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pizza preparation station Restock ingredients, toppings, packaging, and kitchen supplies Monitor ingredient freshness and follow proper food storage procedures Wash and sanitize workstations, utensils, equipment, and food-contact surfaces Coordinate with kitchen and service team members during busy periods Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Assist with opening, closing, and general restaurant duties Requirements Previous pizza, restaurant, food service, or kitchen experience is an asset but not required Basic knowledge of food preparation and safe food handling Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and portion standards Strong attention to detail and food quality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads Preferred Skills Experience working on a pizza or restaurant kitchen line Familiarity with commercial pizza ovens and kitchen equipment Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Strong organization and time management skills Ability to multitask during high-volume service Positive attitude and willingness to learn About the Company Italy Pasta Pizza provides pizza and Italian-inspired food service in a casual restaurant environment.
