Thursday 9am-3pm & Friday-Sunday 10:30 am - 7:30 pm Overview KidZania is looking for you to join our team! What is KidZania? KidZania is a dynamic city built to inspire, educate, and empower kids, including toddlers to teens, through immersive learning experiences! The Food & Beverages Team Member is responsible for ensuring customer service satisfaction through food & beverage services within the park. Service areas include our bakery, quick service, and fast-food restaurants. This team member should be confident taking orders, handling money and processing at point-of-sale. They must maintain cleanliness and keep an orderly environment, following all food-safety regulations. Maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards are a top priority for this team member! They will prepare a variety of foods and beverages according to visitors' orders or coordinators' instructions, following the approved procedures. Food & Beverage will also lead specialized activities with children and guests within their food service areas. Interacting with children is the essence of what we do here at KidZania, and it is the most important part of the role! Additional tasks may be assigned as needed. Fall Weekend Schedule The fall weekend schedule is Thursday through Sunday. Open availability is preferred, but candidates must have a minimum of one (1) weekday available, or a minimum of 3 shifts per weekend. Responsibilities & Requirements Must be comfortable working with children. Deliver warm and welcoming guest experiences with outstanding customer service. Create a fun, exciting atmosphere for children and families. Show positivity, teamwork, patience, flexibility, resilience, and care. Be punctual and reliable. Maintain all standards of cleanliness in the park. Communicate effectively with teammates, management, parents, children, and guests. Maintain professionalism and uphold KidZania's values in daily work. Must have basic math skills.
Schedule Part-time weekends:
Thursday 9am-3pm, Friday-Sunday 10:30 am-7:30 pm. Thursday-Sunday (must have 1 weekday and/or weekend day available.) Option to pick up weekday hours Tuesday-Wednesday beginning in November, if desired. Hours may vary based on school schedules, holidays, and business needs. Pay & Benefits Starting at $14/hour, with growth opportunities based on performance. Flexible schedule Paid time off Creative, exciting environment Internal growth opportunities Park passes & employee discounts Physical Requirements Exposure to heat and cold, including kitchen equipment Stand for long periods, walking throughout the facility. Regularly kneel, squat, crawl, climb, and lift/carry up to 20 lbs. Work in loud, crowded spaces with frequent interaction. Speak clearly and project voice throughout the day. Memorize and recite information consistently. Eligibility Food service and/or restaurant experience in a commercial kitchen preferred. Food Handler's License required within first 2 weeks of employment.
Minimum age:
18 years. Background check required for employees 18+. Employment offers are contingent on successful completion of the background check.
