•-- Job Overview El Charro Authentic Mexican Food in Lake Jackson is seeking an experienced and dedicated Taquero / Parrillero to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and grilling authentic Mexican dishes, ensuring high-quality food production in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a passion for traditional Mexican cuisine, excellent grilling skills, and a commitment to food safety standards.

•-- Duties Operate kitchen equipment efficiently and safely to prepare a variety of Mexican dishes, including tacos and grilled specialties. Adhere strictly to recipes to maintain consistency and authenticity of our menu offerings. Manage food safety protocols, ensuring cleanliness and proper handling of ingredients at all times. Prepare food in high-volume production settings, maintaining speed without compromising quality. Grill meats and other ingredients to perfection, showcasing expert grilling techniques. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work station throughout the shift. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.

•-- Qualifications Proven experience operating kitchen equipment, especially grills and related appliances. Strong knowledge of Mexican cuisine, particularly tacos and grilled dishes. Experience working in high-volume food production environments. Excellent grilling skills with attention to detail in food presentation and flavor. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
