Monday to Friday 8AM to 5PM Overview Join our dynamic kitchen team as a Carl's Jr. Kitchen Team Member, working Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm! This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of fast-paced food preparation and customer service in a lively, quick-service environment. You'll play a vital part in delivering delicious meals with efficiency and enthusiasm, ensuring every guest has a memorable experience. Paid training is provided, and no prior restaurant experience is necessary—just your positive attitude and eagerness to learn. Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and freshness. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Assist with food handling, cooking, plating, and packaging to ensure timely service during busy hours. Support cashiering duties including cash handling, order taking, and upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities. Restock supplies, ingredients, and utensils as needed to keep the kitchen well-organized for smooth operations. Uphold excellent customer service by engaging with guests positively, addressing their needs promptly, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
