Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely service and high-quality dishes Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards Organize ingredients and supplies for efficient food service operations Help with dishwashing, waste disposal, and sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene regulations Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safety Support catering events or special functions as needed, including setup and cleanup Experience Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and knife skills is advantageous Knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures is highly valued Experience in meal or food preparation within the food industry or culinary settings is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
