Job Overview Join our dynamic culinary team of BBQ Chicken Live oak, as a Kitchen Staff member and be a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will assist with food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and support the overall smooth operation of our kitchen environment. Prepare and cook Korean-style fried chicken and other menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, breading, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including sanitizing work surfaces and equipment regularly Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to safety regulations Serve food efficiently during busy hours while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of supply needs Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is advantageous but not required; training will be provided Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred Knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety and sanitation practices, is essential Culinary experience with knife skills, meal preparation, and cooking techniques will help you excel in this role Familiarity with catering or large-scale food handling is a plus Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food handling procedures, and serving standards is desirable
Pay:
From $11.00 to $13.50 per hour
