Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen while supporting chefs and cooks in meal preparation and service. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. Help with meal assembly and plating for catering events or daily service. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under supervision. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. Support chefs and cooks in executing menu items during peak service times. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Skills Experience in food service or culinary environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Familiarity with basic kitchen tools, including knives and cooking equipment. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen. Excellent organizational skills to maintain a tidy workspace.
