Job Description

Overview Texas Elks Camp on Texoma is looking for new members of their culinary team! Here in the Dining Hall, we strive for delicious meals and top-notch customer service to keep our guests happy and full of energy for the adventure that awaits them outside! Responsibilities may include preparing banquet style meals, serving guests, assembling our salad bar, and washing dishes among other general cleaning duties. Our flexible schedule is great for parents with school age children and students working around classes. No experience needed, will train. Duties Assist in food preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas Ensure proper food handling and safety practices are followed at all times Support banquet and catering services as needed, including bussing tables and serving guests Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to enhance guest experiences Participate in regular training sessions on culinary techniques and food safety protocols Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking, food preparation, and sanitation practices Experience in banquet services or hotel environments is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team-oriented atmosphere A commitment to providing excellent customer service while maintaining a positive attitude Join us as we create memorable dining experiences for our guests through teamwork, creativity, and a shared passion for culinary excellence!
