We are looking for a dependable, organized, and caring Kitchen Cook to join our private school team. The Kitchen Cook will be responsible for planning the monthly menu and preparing daily breakfast, lunch, and snacks for our students and staff. The ideal candidate enjoys cooking, takes pride in preparing quality meals, and understands the importance of providing safe, nutritious, and appealing food in a school setting.

Full-Time Responsibilities Create and plan a monthly breakfast, lunch, and snack menu Prepare and serve daily breakfast, lunch, and snacks according to the school schedule Plan meals that are nutritious, balanced, appealing, and appropriate for children Prepare meals while following proper food safety and sanitation practices Monitor student food allergies and dietary restrictions Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen Properly store, label, and rotate food and kitchen supplies Monitor food inventory and communicate when supplies need to be ordered Assist with grocery and food supply ordering as needed Prepare food in appropriate quantities based on enrollment and meal needs Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, work surfaces, and dining areas as required Follow all applicable health and safety requirements Work cooperatively with school administration and staff Maintain a positive and professional environment while working around students Qualifications Previous cooking or food service experience preferred Food Handler's License/Certification preferred, but not required Willingness to obtain a Food Handler's License/Certification if needed Experience planning menus is preferred Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices Reliable and punctual Organized and able to manage multiple tasks Able to work independently and follow a daily schedule Comfortable working in a private school environment with children Previous experience in a school, childcare, restaurant, or institutional kitchen is a plus The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, creative, organized, and passionate about cooking.
