Join Our Team as a Kitchen Prep at Our Family-Owned Café! Are you passionate about food and looking to be part of a close-knit team? Our small, family-grown café has been serving our community for 10 wonderful years, and we're looking for an experienced Kitchen Prep to help us continue delivering the quality and care our customers have come to love. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and have a knack for organization and teamwork, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Kitchen Prep, you'll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
Daily Prep:
Prepare ingredients, portion, label, and set up stations to ensure the kitchen is ready for service.
Recipe Accuracy:
Follow established measurements and methods to maintain consistency in every dish.
Kitchen Organization:
Keep your workspace clean and organized, ensuring all stations are service-ready.
Food Safety:
Uphold sanitation standards, including proper cooling, labeling, and storage practices.
Workflow Support:
Assist in maintaining a smooth service flow and communicate effectively with the front-of-house team.
Leadership When Needed:
Step up to guide kitchen staff, maintain structure, and support daily operations.
Inventory Awareness:
Monitor ingredient levels and promptly communicate any shortages.
Baking:
baking sones and other pastries.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking someone who brings both skill and enthusiasm to the role. To be successful, you'll need:
Kitchen Experience:
Prior back-of-house (BOH) experience is required for this position.

Baking experience a plus! Attention to
Detail:
A commitment to following recipes and maintaining high standards.
Team Player Attitude:
The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the team.
Availability:
