Duties Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and safety standards Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing Support food running duties by delivering prepared dishes promptly to servers or directly to guests Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices Buss tables by clearing dishes efficiently and resetting tables for new guests to ensure smooth service flow Assist with food safety procedures by adhering to proper food handling protocols and maintaining hygiene standards Support banquet or event setups by preparing food stations and ensuring all necessary supplies are available Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly preferred Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety regulations (e.g., food safety certification) Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and in-person customer service interactions Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for processing orders efficiently Experience with kitchen equipment operation and basic cooking skills is advantageous Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary expertise while contributing positively to a vibrant team.
