Food Truck Cleaner — Girls Who Smash Part-time | Mondays & Tuesdays | $13/hour to start, with room to grow Salt Lake City, UT About Us Girls Who Smash is a women-owned smash burger food truck and catering operation based in Salt Lake City. Our trucks work hard, and we take pride in keeping them spotless — for our crew, our customers, and the health department. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented cleaner to join the team. The Role You'll be responsible for deep cleaning our food trucks on a regular weekly schedule. This is hands-on, physical work that makes a real difference in our operation.
Schedule:
Starting out: one truck every Monday (6-hour shift) Growing to: two trucks per week — Mondays and Tuesdays, 6 hours each (12 hours/week) Potential for additional cleanings: if scheduling allows, some trucks may be cleaned twice a week, with the second cleaning taking place either early morning or later in the evening
Pay:
$13/hour starting, with the opportunity to increase based on reliability and quality of work. What You'll Do Deep clean truck interiors: cooking equipment, flat tops, hood vents, prep surfaces, floors, and walls Degrease and sanitize all food-contact surfaces to health code standards Clean and organize storage areas, shelving, and refrigeration exteriors Empty and clean grease traps and waste containers as needed Sweep, mop, and detail the service and cooking areas Report any equipment issues, damage, or supply needs you notice while cleaning Follow a cleaning checklist and leave the truck ready for the next service day Who We're Looking For Reliable and punctual — our trucks run on a tight schedule, and we're counting on you Comfortable with physical work: standing, bending, scrubbing, and lifting up to 40 lbs Detail-oriented — you notice the corners other people miss Able to work independently without supervision Prior commercial kitchen, restaurant, or janitorial cleaning experience is a plus, but not required — we'll train the right person Must be 18 or older
Pay:
$13.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 per week
