Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Food Expeditor, where your energetic coordination skills will ensure smooth and efficient food service. In this vital role, you will act as the communication bridge between the kitchen staff and front-of-house team, ensuring that each dish is prepared, plated, and delivered with precision and timeliness. Your enthusiasm and organizational prowess will help create a lively, positive dining experience for our guests. Duties Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of food orders. Verify that dishes meet quality standards before they leave the kitchen, ensuring presentation and accuracy. Communicate clearly with cooks, bartenders, and front-of-house staff to prioritize orders and resolve any issues promptly. Organize and expedite food trays to maintain a steady flow during busy service periods. Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including plating and garnishing dishes for presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting station to promote food safety standards. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and assisting in maintaining a clean dining environment when necessary. Requirements Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with kitchen staff and servers. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling techniques. Ability to multitask efficiently in a high-pressure setting while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and basic numeracy skills for order accuracy. Previous experience with food expediting or food preparation is highly desirable. Organizational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously during peak hours. Experience in banquet service, hotel hospitality, or culinary roles is a plus. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
