Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food Service Team Members to join our dynamic team at Iceberg Drive Inn. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. You will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Duties Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines. Grill and Fryer experience preferred, but willing to train right person. Ice cream and/or shake experience preferred, but willing to train right person. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, to process customer transactions efficiently. Engage with customers to provide excellent service Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen equipment and dining areas. Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures. Assist in stocking supplies and managing inventory levels in the restaurant setting. Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers. Food Handlers permit (current or willing to obtain) Experience Previous experience in the food service industry or quick service/fast food restaurant is preferred. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Experience with sales techniques, including upselling menu items.
